About Quran Reels Studio
Quran Reels Studio is an independent project built for students, teachers and content creators who want to share Quranic recitation on short-form video platforms without wrestling with desktop editing software. Everything runs in your browser: you choose a surah and a verse range, pick a reciter, style the subtitles, and export a finished video file.
Why we built it
Editing a two-minute recitation clip by hand usually means splitting audio, typing Arabic text, aligning each verse to the waveform and then exporting for three different aspect ratios. Most creators give up after a few videos. We automate the tedious parts — verse text, translation lines, per-verse timing and vertical framing — so the creative decisions are the only work left.
Where the content comes from
Arabic verse text and translations are retrieved from publicly available Quran text APIs. Recitation audio streams from open recitation archives, and each reciter is named in the studio so the recitation is always attributed. Background footage comes from Pexels and Pixabay, used under their respective free-to-use licences. We do not alter, paraphrase or generate Quranic text — the Arabic shown in a reel is the verse text exactly as published by the source.
How the project is funded
The studio is free to use with a small monthly export allowance. An optional Pro subscription removes the export limit and unlocks higher resolutions. Subscription revenue covers hosting, rendering and bandwidth costs. We do not sell user data.
Editorial standards
Every page on this site is written by the team behind the tool. We publish guides only on topics we have tested inside the editor, and we correct pages when a workflow, source or price changes. If you spot an error in a verse, translation or guide, tell us through the contact page and we will review it.
